Regional Sales Manager – California

We are currently seeking to fill the role of a Regional Sales Manager. Only applicants residing in the greater Los Angeles area and surrounding cities will be considered. No relocation allowance is available.

This position will be remote.

Responsibilities of the Regional Sales Manager include, but are not limited to:

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop assigned accounts by telephone and personal visit. Solve any problems with the customers from pricing and quotations to technical.
  • Sustain thorough knowledge of all products sold and or manufactured by Flexitallic and related companies.
  • Negotiate local, regional, national, or global contracts with customers. Develop marketing ideas, trade shows, advertising, catalogs, and surveys as needed.
  • Participate in trade shows and customer functions to ensure partnerships are developed.
  • Remain current with the market and competition in relation to trends in demand and pricing.
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns.
  • Will work with inside sales, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure customer satisfaction in all areas.
  • Perform product and installation training at customer sites or at the future Flexitallic facility in California.
  • Conduct training and product presentations to distributors, customers, and engineering firms.
  • Perform other related duties assigned by the National Sales Manager.

Education/Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience within the gasket and sealing solutions industry is strongly preferred.
  • Competently represent and practice Flexitallic’s approach to fluid sealing product selection, capabilities, and engineering analysis.
  • Technical or mechanical background is preferred.
  • Must be able to successfully function in a fast-paced high-volume sales environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and co-workers.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
