A few of our Flexitallic employees gathered this week to fill bags with school supplies to help the children and grandchildren of our Flexitallic US LLC employees. Misty Jones, Compensation Specialist, Mayra Garza, HR Generalist, Ramie Cordova, Production Supervisor, and Jerry Zaruba, Operations Facility Manager, have been sorting and stuffing supplies for the last couple of days.
The school supply bags for children in elementary school include construction paper, glue, crayons, markers, pencils, scissors, folders, notebooks, and more.
For a family struggling financially, the gift of school supplies is a huge relief considering the average American family in 2022 plans to spend $50 to $60 to send their kids to school on the first day, and that’s just for the required supplies.
“The opportunity to provide school supplies to the children and grandchildren of our employees is extremely gratifying,” said Jerry Lastovica, President of Flexitallic US LLC. “I am very pleased we could do this again for those with elementary school-age children”.
