RIGFLEX™ FP is a Reverse Integrity Gasket designed to allow asset operators not to pressure a whole pipeline when they only want to check the integrity of a specific bolted connection
Reverse Integrity Gaskets empower asset operators to pressurise individual connections post-reassembly and controlled tightening. This localised testing approach eliminates the need for pressure-testing the entire pipeline. The advantages of adopting Reverse Integrity Testing include:
- Reduced downtime by bypassing the necessity to pressurise the entire system, thus avoiding potential issues elsewhere on ageing assets.
- Enhanced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards. Human interaction with potentially hazardous pressurised systems is minimised by eliminating the need for comprehensive pressure testing.
- Significant cost savings stemming from reduced time and resources required for pressure testing an entire system.
The RIGFLEX™ FP comes equipped with dual Flexpro™ seals featuring Corriculite® facing. Corriculite® has demonstrated effectiveness in preventing galvanic corrosion on flange faces, enhancing reliability for the operator and contributing to reductions in fugitive emissions.
RIGFLEX™ FP comes complete with a 316 Stainless Steel core as standard. Other materials are available upon request.
